المرسي ابو العباس فنان مصري ممن مواليد عام 1940 م ، حصل على شهادة البكالوريوس في الفنون المسرحية وقدم العديد من الاعمال والمسرحيات منها مسرحية السبسنه.

يشتهر الممثل المرسي أبو العباس بأخلاقه الحميدة وتعامله الاحترافي والمحترم مع زملائه في المجال الفني، ويهتم بنوعية الأدوار التي يقدمها دون النظر إلى البطولة أو الظهور المستمر في الأفلام، ما يجعله قادرًا على تقديم الأدوار البارزة بمهارة عالية.

ولد الفنان المرحوم أبو العباس المرسي يوم 1 ديسمبر 1940م في جمهورية مصر العربية، وبقي مقيمًا في البلاد حتى وفاته.

يشعر المرسي بشغف تجاه الفن والتمثيل، لذا تخرج من معهد الفنون المسرحية في عام 1965م، وبسبب تقديمه لمسرحيات شبابية في مسرح الطليعة، لاحظه المؤلفون وبدأ في الظهور في السينما المصرية.

ظل المرسي أبو العباس يمثّل ويسعد الجمهور العربي بأدواره حتى عام 2017م، ثم توقف عن التمثيل بسبب المرض حتى وفاته.

على الرغم من أن الممثل المذكور ليس من بين نجوم الصف الأول ولم يحقق أي إنجازات سواء في السينما أو التلفزيون، إلا أنه نجح في لفت أنظار المشاهدين.

توفي الفنان المرسى أبو العباس بعد تعرضه لأزمة صحية في سن السابعة والسبعين بعد أدائه دورًا في مسلسل بين السرايات عام 2017م.
